"An Air of Mystery and Magic" (UPDATED)

These people--

--are profiled in The Valley Advocate, "Arts and Entertainment for the Pioneer Valley." (Yeah, I'd never heard of it either.)

Apparently, they run some sort of publishing concern.

UPDATE: Ms. Link is also profiled in the new Publishers Weekly. It's a subscription site, but you can sign up for a thirty-day free trial and get all the content you want.

You don't say? A publishing concern of some kind, eh? You'd think I would have heard of that...

I see the Advocate hasn't gotten the Infernokrusher memo.

I thought Infernokrusher was dead again? We can keep killing and resurrecting it forever, right?

I did think it was odd that the first third of the article was spent defining what it is those wacky kids are publishing, anyway.

Like a phoenix, baby.

Though I'm told Two-Fisted Metafiction is the next big thing.

can it be double-fisted? Then we could have a beer funnel. my rugby team had its own funnel. there was an appointed funnel-carrier, funnel adornments...

That first picture has them photoshopped on a background of books, which looks a little weird, but the second, more "real," picture in the article also looks like they've been photoshopped in. Weird. Maybe they look photoshoppy in person the same way BigFoot just happens to be a blurry creature.
