Words

I don't have any, particularly, which is why it took me until today to post anything about that damned anniversary. But two people made me feel a little better after the attacks five years ago. One was David Letterman and the other was Jon Stewart.

Take care of yourselves.

I was in an airport in Morgantown, West Virginia, awaiting a connection to Pittsburgh when the first plane hit. My nephew elbowed me, said "Something is happening in Mew York." We didn't get to fly that day, though we would have.

I was considering writing about where I was the day after in my own blog, then simply shrugged the whole task off. I came to your blog incedentally, trying to find a good pic on the web of 'Bum Bill Bee,' George Herriman's notable pilgrim on the road to nowhere. I found your posting about your discovery of the Ket, and, with some wince-free reading, discovered that you worried away at some of the same sort of things that I did. Then you wrote about them crisply and clearly. Cool beans to you, sir.
